SYRACUSE COE OFFICE FOR INDUSTRY COLLABORATION TECHNOLOGY APPLICATION & DEMONSTRATION AWARDSyracuse CoE OIC Technology Application and Demonstration awards grow the Central Upstate New York economy by funding the thorough, collaborative testing of environmental quality product and service innovations as a step toward commercialization. Commercialization of innovations is funded by the
Commercialization Assistance Program.
TAD projects considered for awards demonstrate the "first proof of principle" or "reduction to practice" phase of a new product or service associated with air and water quality in built and urban environments. These are competitively awarded funds.
New York Creative Core companies that have benefited from TAD grants include

Environmental Laboratory Services,
Propulsive Wing,
Taitem Engineering,
Widetronix,
Air Innovations,
HAPControl,
Isolation Systems,
OrthoSystems, and
Phytofilter Technologies.
