Blue Rain ECOfest
The Blue Rain ECOfest returns, bigger, better, and busier, to take place during Syracuse Artsweek, July 30 and 31, 2010. Hanover Square and City Hall Commons courtyard will fill with great music, dance, food, drink, vendors and exhibitors, all joining to celebrate learning about living well while saving the planet.
Thanks to continued funding from National Grid and Syracuse Center of Excellence, Blue Rain ECOfest will be a free, outdoor, multi-day urban eco-festival serving the entire Northeast. This year, 10 visionary “green entrepreneurs” will be chosen by our new production partner, Syracuse First, to exhibit at the festival for free!
This festival is just a stone's throw from many other great events as well! It's still centrally located in he center of the Syracuse Artsweek corridor, the combined visual-and-performing arts festival with a proven audience that exceeds 50,000, also offering the Northeast Jazz and Wine Festival, an international jazz festival, and the Syracuse Arts and Crafts Festival, a juried arts festival, plus a huge Public Art Walk that connects the various sites and includes dozens of visual art and literary activities, “Art in Action” being made right on the street, public-art projects by and for children, and visually projected art.
