SyracuseCoE engages in a wide range of collaborative efforts to address global challenges in clean and renewable energy, indoor environmental quality, and water resources. Visit our members page to learn more about the 200+ companies and institutions who are a part of the SyracuseCoE federation.

Featured collaborative efforts include:

Industry Collaborations, where SyracuseCoE works to:

  • Coordinate and channel the research, development, and production of new environmental technologies and solutions;
  • Build on the Central Upstate New York's cluster of world-class educational programs, research and development, and engineering and manufacturing;
  • Create new jobs and position Central Upstate New York as a leader in indoor environmental quality research and product development.

The Sustainable Enterprise Partnership (SEP), which links the extraordinary resources of three Central New York institutions to offer world-class education and research on sustainable enterprise and provide an in-depth understanding of sustainability policy and practice.

Engagement with Syracuse's Near Westside neighborhood, where SyracuseCoE is currently involved in projects that try to decrease energy use in homes and increase indoor air quality; help find environmentally-friendly solutions to storm water management; promote deconstruction practices; and create green collar jobs.

The Clean Tech Center is a NYSERDA supported initiative to grow world class renewable clean energy companies in New York State. It offers support for entrepreneurs and early stage companies through incubation, acceleration and retention.
