Complete Streets Bill

The “Complete Streets” legislation requires state, county, and local transportation agencies to consider roadway design features that increase the safety of everyone who walks, rides and drives on and around streets and roads. Besides the obvious safety improvements that will come with Complete Streets, safer streets also can lead to more people using alternative forms of transportation that reduces energy demand, improves public health, as well as builds better connectivity within and between neighborhoods.
