White House "Energy Czar" Tours SyracuseCoE HQ

It has attracted the attention of some of the President Obama's top energy advisors.  Thursday, his energy czar, Carol Browner, toured the new Syracuse Center of Excellence building.

After seeing the building, she told onlookers it's really helped put Syracuse at the forefront of green innovation.

You know it must take something unique to attract a high level member of the White House team to any community -- and even though it's not totally finished, the new Center of Excellence building did not disappoint Browner, who was last in Syracuse in the fall of 2000 as President Clinton’s EPA director.
